>Allegedly it was popular with the footballer George Best. It is currently part of a multi-million Euro development plan which will see it redeveloped into a leisure complex. It now features in many newspaper articles where urban explorers are said to be in “awe” and “mesmerised” at the eerieness of it all. Features also on many YouTube and TikTok videos with view counts in excess of 300000. It would seem this hotel is now more popular with visitors than when it was open.
I was just there, my buddy said they are trying to do something with it
I stayed there a few times. The food was always great. The rooms were quite dated but I always enjoyed staying there.
