Americans are so positive and a bit overly optimistic. I want the West to do more for Ukraine but one must also have a realistic appraisal of the situation in order to do what needs to be done.
We must show ruzzia strength and determination but leaders must explain the reality to their citizens. All of us must accept a lesser level of discomfort now or a greater level later if we fail to act.

They aren't just doing meat attacks though. Initially, it wasn't understood why they wanted Soledar early in the war and it turned out that the salt mines there had a big Soviet cache of weapons that they knew about.
