Either that sign is enormous, or that bun is microscopic.
That looks like a really shit cinnamon bun :/
Where is it? I would like to avoid it
Yep, That’s Caravan. Keep going there and you’ll find yourself living in a real one soon enough.
Mission the final 0 off the price (and/or omitting the £ sign) is invariably a sign of overpriced hipster BS
Looks like about the going rate. The area I live in (Walthamstow) is oversaturated with bakeries, but on the flip side, most of them are on the Too Good To Go app.
That’s a sign to lay off the sugar
Not proud to admit I spent £6 for a slice of cheesecake from La Maritxu the other day. Was damn good though.
Charging £4.50 and couldn’t even be bothered to print the “0”.
Fuck this Lovecraftian dystopic hellhole of a nightmare
They cinna you coming at that price
Is this the roastery in cali road?
Saw a flavoured water in Bread & Truffle for £4.50, out-bloody-rageous
Yikes. Price hikes. Little tykes.
How much price headroom do these shops think they have before they go under?
Wow!!! So cheap!!!!!!!
Typo??
I value quality and expertise, and I understand that right there represents hours of a person’s life. But…pfff, it’s getting very difficult for humble people like me to enjoy things like that.
I bought a gorgeous cinnamon roll at M&S bakery for £1.60 .. if that helps anyone
I would like to try
You know it’s bad when I see that price and think it’s reasonable. There is a place I know that sells them for £6.80
“Support your local small businesses!” 😬
£4.50 for a bun is quite outrageous if you ask me.
Everything is priced like that in central London, and there are a few spots that are actually worth it, the exception to the rule if you will. If you’re not going to one of those however, you might as well get your Tesco bakery for £1
Bruh your local coffee shop is Caravan ?? Like thats your only choice ? get outta here with that shit I guarantee you there is some mom and pop coffee shop 10m down the road you can get this for 1/3 the price but your dumb ass can only comprehend a bougie hip coffee shop and then have the nerve to complain about it like its your only choice.
One picture to summarise the state of the economy.
I was in Bordeaux recently. For 4.50 you’d come out with a wheelbarrow of items.
