Maybe once all the boomers die we can finally get a publicly funded universal healthcare system.
Instead of a medical coverage payment coming out of my paycheck, it’ll be taxes taken out. Same ish, different toilet. God, people are easily swayed. I still want universal healthcare b/c if people get laid off in masses AGAIN, we’ll be in a better place. People will get laid off again because of capitalism.
People are so scared of the word “tax” but are willing to pay 1500$ a month for a private insurance plan that covers nothing until they reach their 7500$ deductible and rack up 60,000$ in student debt with a 7% interest rate. The mental gymnastics is astounding.
They baited you with the poll. Should be “would you like to pay less for healthcare than you currently do by bundling your costs with the entire nation at the expense of many admin jobs and large profits taken by a few companies”
One of the highest cost line items i the USA , healthcare, disappears for everyone and most people pay more in taxes.
I was told Obamacare fixed all of this in the US.
I’d like it for free without an extra tax.
