Inspired by the post last week, I confronted this guy and asked if he knew that he was parked in a disabled spot. His response was: “Where else am I supposed to park” and “Get the fuck out of my face”
Bull bars are a sure sign of a wanker
I assume you reported him to the warden?
Wanker . People always park in those particular spots there opposite Costa
Now OP, you don’t know what condition this man might have, he could be morally disabled!
Financial strains mean Audi Wankers have now become Volkswagen wankers.
I hope he gets clamped, and it’ll be his own dumb asphalt..

Alloys and low profile tyres… On a van???
Tidy caddy all the same
“but maybe the subway isn’t open yet”
I hate this, I have an accessible parking pass and this is a CONSTANT occurrence. Especially in UCD- loads of parents pull into the spaces and sit in their car waiting for their (presumably as they don’t have a pass) able bodied adult children 🙁
I commute via car because of my disability and it’s already exhausting driving for so long. I can’t handle the trek around campus!
As mentioned before. Without a vertical sign, it’s not legally a disabled space. It’s only a suggestion. Yes it’s a dick move but not clampable
I always carry a few screws with me and strategically place 1 or 2 under the tires…. cost of fixing is negligible but it’s the hassle I know I’ve caused measures in my mind as equal to that of a disabled person having to find an alternative spot.
And thats charlesland, so I will be keeping an eye out for this wankbag
Honestly I do think parent and child spots either need merging with disabled spots, or have the same rules applied.
The amount of people I see parked in those with no sign of a child seat on board, or occupied by an older couple is insane.
It’s crazy how people park in disabled spots, always has been, but at the same time the amount of times I’ve seen full car parks while the disabled spots are 90% vacant also shows areal disconnect about how frequently they’re used.
Something does need doing about all of this, but you’re going to have shit drivers and inconsiderate parkers everywhere.
EDIT: I’m a parent to a toddler and have taken to also parking like a reprobate (ie taking up 2 spaces) when I have my son with me if no P&C spaces are free. How the hell am I expected to get my 15m son out the car when I can’t even open the fucking doors wide enough to reach him?

When you see Charlesland on /r/ireland
There is the possibility that their passenger is disabled and they needed to park closer. Do you have to have a badge displayed to use them? The reason I’m asking is because my mum was a nurse. And she did a lot of community work with the wheelchair association. And when she brought people to do shopping, she’s park in the disabled spots so the people she cared for wouldn’t have to walk as far to the shops. And she never had a badge because she’s not disabled or official transport.
Is this is Charlesland Greystones, and he’s saying there’s nowhere else to park, there’s literally an underground and above car park 20 yards from here.
Please remember, not all disabilities are visible. Ask yourself who would put alloys and souped up body work on a VW caddy….
