2. Just awful, devastating news, tragic!!!
   In my opinion this is down to depression, for such a tragic death he’s ended himself.

   It’s never the answer but clearly this man was suffering… rip brother!

3. My 2 girls adored 1 direction and we got to see them in Madrid they were brilliant sending love and prayers to the family RIP Liam 🙏❤️

8. The horror side of fame. Media, trolls and alot of people, news papers etc have a lot to answer for. Heart goes out to his family and little boy. For him to have so much and so many people who loved and cared for him to die alone with strangers taking photos and wanting a quick buck. The world is mad. Fame isn't everything. Health and family is more important.

10. I'm a teenage boy that grew up with 1D when I was 4/5/6 years old. I woke up this morning and saw the news and actually cried. How emotional you can get over someone you've never met before is crazy. R.I.P Liam

15. This is so sad. I still feel shocked, like it hasn't sunk in yet. It hurts to know that I'll never be able to thank him for everything he's done for me. His music has been so helpful for me, so comforting, especially when I have anxiety. And his little boy, Bear, won't have a father anymore. My prayers go out to his family and friends. God bless them all, and rest in peace Liam. 💔🕊

26. I'm too old for 1D (Westlife FTW!) but I feel really sad about this. I actually gasped when I saw the papers today. It's so sad.

27. He was obsessed with his ex and she got a restraining order last week as he kept harrassing her and her mother. I guess he couldn’t cope.

28. talking about social media and Caroline Flack in regards to Liam is irresponsible. It implies it was suicide. Maybe it was, but we don't know that.

There are so many ways to grieve this—as a Directioner, but also as a young person so close in age to him, I feel this loss profoundly and yet cannot come to accept it. Liam was a shining light. So much goodness in that smile and so much hurt in the times it waned. Liam was fighting so much darkness, so much weight. If ever there was a chance to turn back time. Rest in peace dear Liam. You lit up millions of lives and were a part of the childhood we cherish so much. This grief will be long-lasting and in that at least, so will your memory— the voice, the laugh, and the talent you gifted us. ❤

30. My prays go out to his family even though i was never a 1D fan this is still really sad sad news. Rip to Liam life is soo short one minute where here the next where gone so we should always wake up feeling grateful and blessed for our life's, health and the fact we can see another day. 🙏
