In what way did she quickly try to quell the violence?
Only got herself to blame
Good , saying that if she had a zoom meeting about global climate protests she would have got longer.
Stupid and should be given long community sentence.

To anyone claiming this is outrageous repressionnof free speech as Mill who kind of invented free speech observed in On Liberty:

I strongly suspect that Mill would have considered the tweets encouraging people to firebomb hotels sheltering asylum seekers to be “a positive instigation to some mischievous act”. Some of our hate speech laws and perhaps more importantly the manner in which they’re enforced seem excessive, however directly inciting terrorist violence goes far beyond mere “hate speech”.
I’m a bit behind on my laws and am only 24 so this stuff doesn’t interest me as much as a younger guy, when did saying stuff online get you jailed?
