Hurricane Milton spawns killer tornadoes

Some 19 tornadoes struck Florida, killing at least two pensioners as Hurricane Milton generated powerful storm surges and freak winds.

Rescue teams are searching for people trapped at a retirement community in Fort Pierce while hundreds of homes were “completely totaled” in the area.

Hurricane Milton brought winds of up to 120 mph as it made landfall in Florida, causing more than two million households to lose power. The eye of the category 1 storm is now moving from Tampa towards Orlando.

  1. The roof of the Tampa Rays stadium was not destroyed by a tornado but by the hurricane itself. Tornadoes spawned south, near Fort Myers and Cape Coral, and mostly towards the East Coast.

  2. Our hearts and prayers are with the people who are affected by Milton. As natural disasters are becoming more frequent, it reminds us how crucial it is to do what we do.

Our goal is to build disaster resilient homes for America and we will continue to work towards it.

We pray that God gives those who were affected in this hurricane the strength to face this situation.

  3. Will Floridians also have to pledge not to boycott Israel and Israeli products in order to receive aid or fund to rebuild their homes and business like Texas state after Hurricane Harvey? I love democracy.

  4. Yeah the tornadoes spawned by supercells in the dixie alley and tornado alley are way more violent than the goofy ahh hurricane tornadoes that last for like 20 minutes and look weird. Just search up Joplin or Jarrel, El reno tornado
