16 Oct: UKRAINIAN ARMY DOES NOT ALLOW RUSSIAN ADVANCE, DESTROYED T-80BV | Russia Ukraine War Update

Hello everyone, from a new video! Over the past 24 hours, 171 combat engagements have been recorded along the frontlines of Ukraine. These developments highlight Russia’s intensifying assault attempts, but Ukraine’s defense forces have successfully held key strategic positions. Particularly in the Kurakhove axis, fierce battles took place, and Ukraine managed to maintain its defensive lines.

On the Kurakhove axis, Russian forces launched a total of 40 attacks, but the majority were repelled by Ukraine’s steadfast defense. The fiercest clashes occurred around Novodmytrivka and Heorhiivka, areas crucial for Russia’s strategy of pushing northward. However, Ukraine’s forces successfully prevented these key locations from falling into enemy hands. Additionally, assaults were reported near Kreminna Balka, Tsukuryne, Novoselydivka, Kostiantynivka, Antonivka, and Katerynivka. These locations are strategically important due to their proximity to Russian supply lines, making their capture vital for logistical control.

On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 26 Russian assault and offensive maneuvers. The most intense fighting was concentrated around Selydove, a settlement critical to Russia’s larger plan of extending control in the south. Attacks near Novotroitske, Myroliubivka, Promin, Krasny Yar, and Krutyi Yar further underscore Russian efforts to seize strategic points. Despite the concentrated pressure, Ukrainian defenders effectively neutralized enemy attempts to advance in this axis.

In the Kupiansk axis, the past 24 hours saw 28 Russian assaults. Ukraine’s defense forces successfully fended off offensives in critical areas such as Kucherivka, Novo-osynivka, Hrushivka, Pishchane, Hlushkivka, Lozova, Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, and Vyshneve. This axis represents Russia’s bid to widen the front in the north, attempting to gain a foothold in a region critical for both sides. Kupiansk, with its strategic supply routes, remains a key target for Russian forces aiming to solidify their northern operations.

These developments highlight the crucial importance of control over strategic regions in this ongoing conflict. The Kurakhove and Pokrovsk axes are central to Russia’s broader strategy of expansion, while the Kupiansk axis reflects a northern push. Ukraine’s success in holding these areas demonstrates its ability to maintain solid defense lines, limiting Russian advances on the map.

As fighting intensifies in these strategic sectors, both sides will continue to make tactical moves that could reshape the overall trajectory of the war. For now, Ukraine’s defense lines remain firm, thwarting Russia’s efforts to penetrate deeper into key regions.

As the war between Russia and Ukraine continues to escalate, Ukrainian forces have reportedly destroyed another Russian T-80BV tank at an undisclosed location on the frontlines. The T-80BV, known for its speed and maneuverability, has been a key part of Russia’s armored operations. However, its destruction signifies a continuing challenge for Russian ground forces as they face increasing pressure from Ukraine’s effective anti-tank strategies.

This recent loss highlights the growing difficulties for Russian forces in maintaining their armored capabilities on the battlefield. The T-80BV, while advanced, has proven vulnerable to Ukraine’s combination of modern anti-tank weaponry and tactical ingenuity. Ukrainian forces have successfully leveraged their terrain knowledge and advanced systems to neutralize high-value targets like the T-80BV.

This tank is one of many that have been knocked out in recent weeks as both sides engage in intense armored battles across the frontlines. Each loss further underscores the ongoing tug-of-war for control of critical territories. The destruction of these heavily armored vehicles is not just a tactical victory but also a psychological blow, reducing the perceived invincibility of Russia’s mechanized units.

As the conflict rages on, this incident is another example of how Ukraine’s defense forces are adapting and evolving to counter Russian tactics, keeping the pressure high on the invaders.

  2. The mud cannot come fast enough, Russian vehicles will be stuck and become such easy targets. As Ukraine is on the defensive they will have a massive advantage and we should see the new ai autonomous drones in operation soon in huge numbers, ensuring the artillery the orcs have will be deleted easily as they get bogged down. Ukraine knows the weather and how to overcome the mud to a certain extent, especially with the mud helping them.
