38. I believe that JD Vance's biggest issue in the debate was repeatedly referring to Kamala Harris as if she had the authority to set presidential policies. It's common knowledge that the Vice President doesn't have the authority to set policies; that's the President's role. The vice president works under the direction of the president. In my opinion, JD Vance was being dishonest and disrespectful to the American people.
