‘All-time highs’: Australian markets remain at ease despite rising geopolitical concerns

Citi Australia CEO Mark Woodruff discusses how markets in Australia are at ease despite rising geopolitical risks and tensions.

“It is interesting isn’t it because we sit here today and equity markets are at all-time highs … yet geopolitical tensions re clearly higher than where we were 12 months ago,” Mr Woodruff told Sky News Australia.

“If we look at the oil price it is still relatively steady … what is more important … is the clarity we now have around interest rate cycles.”
