Armed and ‘enabled’ by the US, Israel seeks to depopulate Gaza ‘in its totality’: Analysis

Israeli military has targeted Beit Lahiya in the north of the Gaza Strip, in a strike that’s killed up to 100 Palestinians.
Dozens of others have been injured and the death toll is expected to rise.
Northern Gaza has been under an Israeli siege for more than 15 days.
The United Nations is warning Palestinians are being forced to endure “unspeakable horrors”.

And in Deir el-Balah, in central Gaza, at least one air strike hit a residential building near Nuseirat refugee camp.

He says Israel’s actions in Gaza are being enabled by its ally, the United States, and calls what’s happening in the Gaza Strip a “horror show”.

Everyday I am so upset to this all. Why justice dying everyday? Power and money only working? Israelis they are bad but they can go any limit to defend itself but Palestinian killing innocent civilians everyday but no one ask not any country ask why?     The ratio between the number of terrorists killed and the number of civilians killed in Gaza is probably quite close to 1:1 (a civilian killed for every terrorist killed).
    This is a ratio that is considered very good compared to other conflicts and wars in the world in recent decades.

    It is common to compare the war in Gaza to other battles, in which Western armies (or those supported by the West) fought against terrorist organizations in a civilian and urban environment. According to data published around the world, while in the Gaza war, about 50% of the dead are civilians, in the Iraq war – 67% civilians, and in the Gulf War – 88%. In Mosul in Iraq – between 9,000-11,000 civilians were killed, compared to 3,000-5,000 ISIS terrorists. In Raqqa in Syria, about 4,100 civilians were killed, compared to about 1,900 from ISIS terrorists.

    On the assumption that none of the data can be considered very reliable – one can only estimate with a general impression: the IDF's kill ratio in Gaza is much lower than any other army, considering the urban nature of the fighting and the enemy being assimilated into the population.
    In other wars where the nature of the fighting is completely different from that of the IDF – there are also better relations: in the Russia-Ukraine war, for comparison, the rate of civilian casualties is about 30%, and a similar rate in the war in Afghanistan.
