More than 80 Killed in Gaza as Netanyahu Faces ‘Assassination’ Attempts | Times Now World

Israeli airstrikes in northern Gaza’s Beit Lahiya region have resulted in at least 87 people dead or missing, with 40 others wounded, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. The strikes targeted multiple homes in an area that has faced intense bombardment since Israel’s ground invasion began. Despite evacuation orders, an estimated 400,000 Palestinians remain in northern Gaza, which has been isolated by Israeli forces and largely reduced to ruins.

The conflict has also escalated beyond Gaza’s borders, with Israel launching strikes on alleged Hezbollah arms facilities in southern Beirut following rocket fire into northern Israel. The situation intensified after what Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu described as an assassination attempt near his holiday home, attributing it to Hezbollah. Netanyahu has promised retaliation against recent Iranian missile attacks, signaling a potential widening of the regional conflict.
