Investigating alleged Russian war crimes in Ukraine using social media | BBC News

Bellingcat founder Eliot Higgins has made a career out of exposing Russian disinformation.

His team’s investigations into Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 and the Salisbury poisoning case have made headlines around the world.

His focus in recent years has shifted to the war in Ukraine, and he has explained how he uses social media to help investigate alleged Russian war crimes.

  6. Who is going to investigate the UK w@r crime? How much the UK spend for this kind of propaganda. One researche in the US has shown the US spend $1.6 billion just to do propaganda of china. So for the whole propaganda of Russia , iran, n.korea US may spend 3 times more. The UK has ruined its reputation. Once a power country now a circus full of clowns.

    The weakness & softness will only bring more wars to the world.

    Ukraine will never win becoz of chicken democracies.

  34. You no longer scare anyone. These days the BRICS+++ plus the states that have asked to join are meeting in Russia. But you in the usual Western arrogance and presumption underestimate this meeting.
    They represent more than half of humanity and the production of goods, the real ones, not the creative finance of derivatives and the like. They have armies 10 times larger than NATO and are not technologically inferior.
    The Western parasitic elites want war against the rest of the world. The Western people certainly do not want it.
