North Korea Deploys 12,000 Troops to Support Russia in Ukraine War

In a major escalation of the Ukraine conflict, North Korea is reportedly sending 12,000 troops, including special operations forces, to support Russia. According to South Korean intelligence, these soldiers will first be stationed in Russia’s Far East before being deployed to the front lines. This move highlights the growing military alliance between Moscow and Pyongyang, which includes mutual defense agreements and arms deals. While questions remain about the effectiveness of these troops due to their lack of modern combat experience, their involvement signals a deepening partnership and raises fears of further international escalation.
