Amid speculations of Israel’s plan to attack Iran, PM Netanyahu to chair meet at military HQ

A day after the private residence of Israel’s PM was targeted in a drone attack, Netanyahu is scheduled to hold a crucial meet. As per the Times of Israel, PM Netanyahu will be convening his security cabinet tonight in the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv. The meeting amid reports of Israel preparing to strike Iran in response to the October 1 ballistic missile attack. Recently, Iran fired a salvo of around 180 ballistic missiles on Oct 01 after a year of trading fire with Israel. The conflict in the West Asia over Israel’s Hamas has triggered direct Iranian-Israel confrontation. Following, the drone attack on Netanyahu’s house, Israeli PM Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Iran’s proxies, particularly Hezbollah. Meanwhile, a day after the drone attack on Netanyahu’s house, Israel pounded hard on Hezbollah’s HQ in Beirut. Since October 2023, more than 2,400 people have been killed in Lebanon, most of them in the last month, according to Lebanon’s health ministry. While 59 people have been killed in northern Israel and Golan Heights, according to Israeli authorities.
