Vladimir Putin claims Russia wants lasting peace with Ukraine – despite not accepting any peace talks linked to a ceasefire.

During an exchange with reporters – he said it was ‘unrealistic’ to strategically defeat Russia in Ukraine.

Mr Putin says securing a peace deal in the region is central to Russia’s long-term security.

  11. '@serge-s-lumiere I have family in Ukraine and knows exactly what russia did in Butcha and elsewhere. The russian people that was in Donbas came there for work and oppertunities and they were able to relocate back to russia if they felt unsafe or were in danger. Instead russian military occupied Ukrainian territory. I'm sorry but I think no one in Ukraine or no one with connections to Ukraine will ever forgive russia. They stand now with Iran and North Korea. The company in which they belong.

It's still war because the west send Boris Johnson to torpedo the peace negotiations when there was already a peace agreement because no no, their alphabet agencies weren't finished warmongering yet…. if the US wants war, we will have war…. but seen the state of the US military, I'm not convinced they can actually win one if it comes to an actual war…. and I mean an actual war, not fighting some insurgence in the desert with AK's, RPG's and a couple of blankets…. (though even that is something the US managed to fuck up).

Vladimir, I just saw Donald J Trump passing out French fries out of McDonald's like he was working and I thought that was really good public relations and I was thinking that maybe you could do the same thing, and that would look fantastic like they could do a video of like Donald Trump working at McDonald's. And then a video right beside it of you working at like a Russian, fast food place and anyways, that would be good PR. Oh yeah, and also if you could just send some supplies over to hurricane haleen over there in like Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and stuff so that way it looks good on YouTube.
