  1. So many of you have had so many questions over the last few years about our solar electrical system… asking why we don’t get grid? or if our system was worth it? How it holds up in the winter months? With a $500k price tag you’ll see why we made the decisions we did. If this video taught you something share it with a friend 💛

  2. You girls, as usual, ROCK! It has been a wonderful year watching all that you have done, so far this year from installing your power system to building your lakeside recreation area to starting the renovation of your lakeside cabin. I am looking forward to seeing you start building your vacation home in Southern Baja. Take care and continue to be safe. Love you both.

  3. Oh man, Youtube hasn't served me any of you work for ages, until today. Wow you two have come a long way! Very exiting for you and delightful to watch. Keep living the dream!

  4. 24 x 100 amp hours = 2,400 amp hours. Why do you say it's 28,000 amp hours?

Maybe you mean 28,000 Watt Hours???

    That would make more sense. 24 x 12 volts x 100 amp hours = 28,800 watt hours.

  5. You two Ladies should be very proud of your solar aray and ALL of your acoplance 🎉❤.. I Love your channel. Yall are pros now. It seems like there's nothing yall can't do when working together. Reading instructions, watching videos, asking for help like Poter and the electrician. Or just trial and error till you get it right, and it always looks great. 🎉🎉🎉

  6. The amount of work you two have done is insane. It must have been rough not getting completely overwhelmed and discouraged. Can’t wait to see the Mexico build series

  7. O. M. G. 😮. I can’t believe you guys were here in Indy! I’m a huge fan and I literally live 3 minutes from the Fieldhouse. I totally would’ve bought you guys dinner!

  8. OMG! 500,000 JUST FOR ECLECTIC? That's crazy. Is that because there's no electrical pole already near ur location?
My quest is, for ur Solar system, what is the total cost for ur entire needs?
FYI, after a while, your solar panel will have some degradation, nature of the beast. Look into bifacial solar panels, they have come down in price & more bang for ur buck. 😉
    🤗🐕🐕💓🌈

  9. You didn't give a price for what the cost of the materials would be so we can make an educated decision.

Can you please do a follow-up with a cost breakdown of what it would have been if you paid retail for everything.

  10. I absolutely believe you two are the most amazing talented individuals I have ever read about. AND the best part you are women. YEA !!! And you both inspired me to start changing my house and buy a dog . Thank you both I have never been so happy.

  11. It REALLY makes a difference where you live. I designed, got permitted, and built our 5 KW ground mount array myself. My only paid labor was the concrete pumper, but I filled the Sonitubes with the big hose myself. I already was on-grid, so a grid-tie inverter meant no batteries. We converted everything to electric and got rid of our propane tank. The building permit was free because our building department had a mandate to encourage solar. My total permitting cost was $25 for an engineer to stamp my free plans from the ground-mount hardware company. Results? No electric bill for the last three years, and we use electric heaters and AC as needed. In fact, they owe me hundreds of dollars in credit. Anybody living in their own home in the Southern US could do the same.

Mexico will be even more solar-rich, which should make your needs much smaller. Just make sure it's not going to get stolen when you are not there. I think you might need a caretaker or a security company.

  12. Ay, caramba! The editing! Even more complex than the planning for the solar array, and then a voice over, too. Stellar work by you and your team. Paws up to Bella and Izzy and the two of you. 🐾🐾🐾🐾

And…I love my "Pack" t-shirt. It's in the regular rotation and is a perfect complement to my "All my friends are dogs" shirt. 🙂
