Finland shares lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 0.50% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Helsinki, the lost 0.50%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Nokia Oyj (HE:), which rose 2.28% or 0.10 points to trade at 4.37 at the close. Mandatum Oyj (HE:) added 2.25% or 0.10 points to end at 4.41 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) was up 0.93% or 0.08 points to 8.64 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Qt Group Oyj (HE:), which lost 2.34% or 2.10 points to trade at 87.80 in late trade. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) declined 2.25% or 0.13 points to end at 5.64 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) shed 1.66% or 0.18 points to 10.66.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 66 and 32 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.53% or 1.12 to $74.18 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.83% or 1.26 to hit $69.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 5.25 to trade at $2,735.25 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.13% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 103.76.
