The Central Bank of Cyprus on Monday calledfor caution over the circulation of counterfeit $100 banknotes in the Cypriot market.
“The Central Bank of Cyprus announces that it has come to its attention that counterfeit US$100 banknotes are circulating in the market and urges the public and businesses to exercise extra caution in their transactions,” the banking supervisor said in press release.
