Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa Gen. James B. Hecker spoke today with Acting Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Lt. Gen. Anatoly Kryvonozhko to discuss regional security dynamics and Ukrainian Air Force operations.

Gen. Hecker reiterated the U.S. commitment to Ukraine’s defense and discussed security assistance priorities to meet their battlefield needs.

This meeting displays USAFE-AFAFRICA’s resolve to continue strengthening bonds, collaboration, and lasting support for Ukraine.

The two leaders pledged to remain in close contact.
