It is official. The As I Lay Dying European tour is canceled.

Post from supporting bands Ov Sulfur, Caliban, and Decapitated have all shared statements regarding the cancelation.

This news comes after a tumultuous week for the Tim Lambesis front metalcore act, with most the band and tour manage severing their relationships with the band.

Decapitated shared the following:

We regret to inform you that, due to circumstances beyond our control, the upcoming tour has been cancelled.

We are very sorry for all our fans who were planning to come to these shows and already bought tickets.

Get ready for an amazing new tour that’s on the way—we can’t wait to make it up to you!

Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for support!

Tickets can be refunded at your point of purchase.

Cailban’s statement:

It’s with a heavy heart that we have to share some tough news.
As many of you have already heard, our upcoming tour with As I Lay Dying has been cancelled.

Believe us when we say this was completely out of our hands.

We know how much you were all looking forward to it, and we’re truly sorry to disappoint our amazing fans.

Please know we’re working tirelessly behind the scenes to make things right.

We are doing everything we can to organize a worthy replacement for this tour ASAP and will hopefully be able to make announcements soon.

Thank you all for your patience and support.

Stay tuned for more updates – we’ll be back soon!

Andy, Patrick, Marc, Denis & Iain

Ov Sulfur adds:

Unfortunately our European tour with @asilaydying, @decapitatedband and @calibanofficial has been canceled. We are disappointed to not play for our fans overseas for what would have been our first time, but this was out of our control. We look forward to making it to your side of the world as soon as we can.

Sadly some costs incurred are not recoupable, so if you have the means it would mean the world if you check out any of our merch stores or stream our music. Thank you and see you soon.

Still no word from As I Lay Dying on the cancellation nor the future of the band.
