Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the added 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:), which rose 3.19% or 0.33 points to trade at 10.68 at the close. Meanwhile, UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:) added 2.74% or 0.77 points to end at 28.91 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:) was up 2.07% or 1.13 points to 55.84 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes ABP (HE:), which fell 5.98% or 3.95 points to trade at 62.05 at the close. TietoEVRY Corp (HE:) declined 5.97% or 1.13 points to end at 17.79 and Orion Oyj B (HE:) was down 5.50% or 2.57 points to 44.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 86 to 77 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Cargotec Oyj (HE:) rose to all time highs; up 2.07% or 1.13 to 55.84.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.99% or 1.48 to $75.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.07% or 1.45 to hit $71.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.90 to trade at $2,749.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.14% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 104.04.
