Judd Trump believes his fast start helped him on the way to a thumping win over Shaun Murphy on Friday night.
The World No. 1 hit back-to-back centuries as he cruised to a 5-1 win in Belfast.
Trump told Eurosport: “The first frame was massive, I think, to nick that and settle into the game.
“Because he looked sharp at the start.
“That’s just something I’m able to do at the moment, just able to recognise when I’m in danger and get myself out of it at the start.”

Kyren Wilson has revealed his brother acted as a secret weapon as he beat Mark Williams 5-1.
The Englishman’s impressive win featured a break of 135 in the fourth frame.
Wilson told Eurosport: “I worked really hard before going out for the match.
“I had about an hour and a half solid, solo practice and did a lot of long potting with my brother.
“They’ve got to go in against these top players, that’s how you get in and, yeah, it kind of puts them on edge a little bit and you have to do that or they’ll walk all over you.”
After a thriller in the early game, it was a little bit easier for Wilson, Slessor, and Trump.
The semi-finals are all set for tomorrow in Belfast.
