Chechen Fighters Assault Russian Trench Killing Visible Enemy in Close Combat. Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast [Published by Sheikh Mansur Battalion, Sept 2023]
Warriors of the Ichkerian battalions, together with allies from the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the foreign legion, carried out an operation to capture a strategic height on the outskirts of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. The fighters captured the heights, eliminating the enemies and taking some of them prisoner. Also, three Russian counter-assaults were repulsed by Ichkerian soldiers.
Cameraman says at the end that there were 4-5 inside the dugouts which they threw in the grenade into and that they managed to take another 3 KIA and 2 POWs.

I can’t imagine how chaotic this situation is in person. 2nd guy to die basically got left for dead by his teammate. If you notice after the combat roll, one of the trench fighters retreated into the burrow resulting in his teammates flank being exposed. Idk about you but I would be pissed if I died because of somebody else’s negligence.
Brave as hell is all I can say.

Many in their leadership are veterans from the 1st and 2nd Chechen Wars. So they don’t like Russians one bit, to say the least.
