7. Wholesale gasoline closed at $1.08 on Nov 6, 2020. $1.87 retail isn’t a stretch.

   That’s nearly half of today’s close of $2.03

35. US fracking cost per barrel are around $53. Russia costs around $30 a barrel. Gulf states under$10 per barrel. US has boatloads of coal and natural gas. the only reason we pump oil now is because we embargo the cheap producers to keep prices high. It would not be hard to lower domestic prices by opening US/euro to Russ/Iran oil.
