  5. I didn’t see an APS activate and that missile got within 3 feet of the tank per the video. Hmmm. Still could have gotten the missile though. Pretty impressive kit from the Iranians to be honest. 

     3 weeks into this conflict and the IDF is reporting mutiple dead every day while they have made negligible progress on the ground.   And Channel 2 in Israel says 12 brigades are trying to get in.  Woof. 

    This conflict is shaping up to be more interesting than I thought it would be.

  16. That’s some unsettlingly professional shooting. An angry man, a man letting spite rule his actions, he might have been tempted to turn that tank commander into a pink mist with the rocket. Instead the point of aim suggests somebody who knows where the weakest point of a Merkava is, and has the discipline to stay on target.

    It’s a top-down shot so you’d have to think any shooter would be confident to pick a spot that looks important, but this guy has the whole tank laid out in front of him and puts it on the back, under the turret. That also suggests our shooter knows the limitations of his weapon system. He’s not going for a well-protected juicy bit of the tank, he’s taking the shot he knows he can make.

    There’s some debate in the comments about what’s located under there, but I suspect whatever it is there will have been a penetrating hit, and that tank is, at the very least, going to have to go home. By all accounts the Merkava is well enough put together we wouldn’t expect to see an Israeli Turret Space Program, but you’re probably not going to walk off a hit on the top from a modern guided missile.

  34. Ooof that’s a lot of range and indirect fire capability. I wonder where’s the spotter at. If this is fairly recent we won’t see conflict in Lebanon ending soon. Seems these guys are fairly well equipped as well.

  36. That hit probably did nothing serious, it hit in a way that what ever it penetrated was most likely just electronics and shit

Hizbullah is a terrorist group and also hamas is a terrorist group , look october and you will see that they killed civillians and killing innocent people in the islam is forbidden but they killed babies and old woman and mens so how people say they are not terrorist , erdogan if you are muslim , you know that hisbullah and hamas are terrorist groups but as i said if you are in islam you can accept this
