Burger King has decided to become that high end restaurant with prices you can only guess… and assume it’s reasonable. Because if you wait in line you’re going to order.

  1. I’d assume having no prices posted will get you sued in a number of states?

CA finally slapped Home Depot with a fine for ALWAYS having a higher price at checkout than marked.

  2. My McDonalds drive thru menu looked like this the other day. We need to start asking them to read us the prices. When their done ask them to repeat

  3. Fast food in America will never be a crisis

Fast food in the definition of disposable income

Its an expense you don’t need to spend

  4. Been cooking at home a lot more lately.

Still suck at it, but it’s cheaper than this

  5. Next time I see this I’m going to ask for the price of each item. Tie up the line in protest until they fix this.

  6. Just stop eating this crap. There are plenty of other alternatives. Strange concept : ordering what you want to eat (try to digest?) and have the surprise at the end.

  7. I have no idea how BK is still in business. None of the ones around me ever have people there. The last time I was in one was because I was traveling and that was the easiest place to eat off the freeway. They totally messed up my order, the food was overpriced and not good at all…not even “fast food good”.

  8. Remember when combos came with a medium drink and fries instead of a small?why do I need to “upgrade” to a medium?

  9. I’ve noticed also the price on in person reader board menus are so small that you have to walk up to the counter to see without using binoculars. Its an engagement trap.

  10. If this was the drive thru, I’d ask for the price of each menu item then. Slow it down.

Who am I kidding, I’ve almost completely stopped going to fast food because it just isn’t worth it. This just proves it.

  11. Order what you want, it is free for the small, +$0.80 for the medium and $1.40 for the large. If they try to charge you more than that, decline the order and report them to the local/state authorities for false advertising.

  12. In my country the American franchises have been doing this with their online menus. Very frustrating and different to our local brands. When I was a student it used to annoy me to fuck.

  13. Doesn’t this mean it’s all free?

If they don’t ask for money in return, I have to assume they’re giving it away. For example, I might put an old TV on the curb and someone will take it, but they’ve never come to my door to ask me how much I want for it.

  14. How people eat this shit everyday is beyond me. Bad quality and price, hard pass. One of my coworker always complains about money, but they stop at Starbucks and order out for lunch everyday.

  15. I’m probably gonna get downvoted but fast food being expensive isn’t really a “crisis”. Houses and rent being too expensive is a crisis. Groceries from the grocery store being too expensive is a crisis. Even economy/basic cars being too expensive could qualify as a crisis. Saying fast food being expensive is a “crisis” is kinda like saying that a Mercedes or a custom home or designer clothes being expensive is a “crisis”. Fast food, and all restaurant food really, isn’t essential and people shouldn’t be buying it unless they have some level of disposable income. I do enjoy some fast food here and there, but if it got to the point where it was affecting my budget for essentials, I wouldn’t step foot in a fast food restaurant (or any restaurant) until I was making more money or restaurants got cheaper and it really wouldn’t impact my quality of life at all.

  16. I hadn’t been to a BK in years, order a meal and it was over $12. So not worth it, not going back.
