Mad to think what was extreme is now not only relatively mainstream but fairly commodified and commercialised; indeed are there even any sub cultures left that would be regarded as as fringe as the goths of the 80s? All those kids would be in their 50s now – wonder are they still rocking those aesthetics lol.

    Seems like given our more inclusive society there’s less … need to push against the orthodox from the young. Just can’t think of any teen styling that’d be perceived as outrageous or as shocking to fossils like myself, not compared with the old & young generations from that video.

  2. Lads are sub cultures dead? I feel like I don’t see teenagers or young adults diversifying through style or fashion any more
