… because their logon servers got hacked. No one could log in this morning.

As a quick n dirty solution they removed the pay wall und thus: we all can read the newspapers for free.

  1. Great, now my email address is in yet another database.. brb trying to figure out if I used simplelogin or my real email.. ffs.

I hope DSG has some teeth in case the some CID has been leaked. Even if not, fuck them, any blind monk that lived the past 40 years 3000 meters above the sea can handle customer data these days, audits are optional and labels are cheap.

  2. Great, more emails and passwords stored somewhere and being sold a bit later, so a new wave of hacked accounts on other sites because too many people use the same combination of mail and password for every site. This will be lovely.

  3. I think no one will fix this problem by Monday, it’s a day off for people. Use it. 😁

  4. Fantastic news! The so-called “mainstream” media has always been extremely biased and should be fought as hard as possible until extinction. Paywalls and restrictions belong in the stone age era.

  5. Just FYI, if you stumble upon any article that is behind a paywall, you can use [https://archive.ph/](https://archive.ph/)

It attempts to make a snapshot to archive the website, and then you access the archive and not the actual website. I’ve been using this for quite sometime and I’ve never had any problem.

  6. Tamedia is cheap in cyber security, they only have one CISO plus ones security officer, I am not surprised
