  1. My mum said she’s put in £10 a month since I was born so we expected about 2.5k. She never checked on the account, but I got curious and found out it’s expected to hit about 8k when I turn 18. I wasn’t aware there are investors who play with the money so seems they did a pretty good job.

  2. Disgraceful. These financial firms should be prosecuted for charging 10x the allowable fees.

    Of course the cowardly government will ignore my suggestion and prosecute kids who buy an anytime train ticket instead.

  3. When this was brought in it struck my cynical self immediately that it was a way for the government to provide public money to its mates.
