If Poland birth rate is dropping since 100 years, why is population not declining since 100 years considering the low immigration rate in Poland?

  1. Because you’re not considering [replacement fertility rate](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sub-replacement_fertility). Until the 90s, an average couple here had two or more children and the number of births outpaced the number of deaths.

Advances in medicine also played a role, as when you’re reasonably certain your children will survive to adulthood it makes more sense to focus your resources on a smaller number of kids than have more children than you’re confident you can provide for.

  2. >low immigration rate

It’s amazing that media can make up any bullshit and people still believe it.

Dude, Poland is a country of massive immigration for a decade, also birth rate isn’t droppingĀ  for 100 years wtf?
