Just two weeks ago you could order a PS5 (disc edition) for around 480€ (bol.com). Today the price is 530€. It's this just a trick to be able to prepare for fake discounts on Black Friday?

  1. September is usually the best time to buy stuff. Rarely has black friday any good deals. But it’s not impossible, speaking from experience here.

  2. It had a discount the celebrate 30y Playstation. But yes, the regular ps5 will have a black friday discount

  4. I presume they are probably ‘fooling’ plenty of people. They have good reasons to set these prices the way they do

  5. Was looking at the same, on Amazon there was even the bundle with TWO controllers at 449€, now its back to 509€.

  6. There was a deal and now they are back at the market price. So how would it be a fake deal in November if they were to offer it again for Black Friday? It would only be a fake deal if they went way above the market price now to then offer the current market price as the deal. But that’s not what’s happening, it’s just the same deal happening twice.

I get the feeling you are just angry because you missed the deal. This is exactly how deals work.

  7. So you see a line, for a LONG time, then a small discount for a short time, and back to the level of the previous price, and your takeaway is “they’re doing it on purpose to do a fake discount later!” Instead of “oh, … There was a discount that I missed.”

You’re not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you, OP?
