  1. To an extent I think we have to accept that some deals were going to result in us buying unusable equipment, we, along with pretty much every country in the world, were in a mad scramble to get as much PPE as we could so normal procurement processes couldn’t be followed.

    But the scale of outright corruption is staggering, and I’m surprised that Labour haven’t made any statements about how they’re going to recover the billions wasted and punish those responsible.

  2. Tbh, 12 million isn’t that much when you consider the NHS as a whole.

    Not that it’s fine to lose that money, just that it sounds worse than it probably is.

  3. ‘Binned’ as in disposed of in landfill or burnt? Fantastic. Put it all in containers and ship it off to the third world where they could make use of it. Imo.
