Unsure how far away UAF is from the end of “gradually” phase. If it has strategic reserves they should be deployed now. The other thing is pull back forces from kursk and use them on the fronts where they are needed.
Maybe there is something to be said when US states that Ukraine doesn’t need to strike deep into Russia, they have plenty to worry about on their own soil.
Is this going to turn Donetsk into another Bakhmut if they reach the city even?
Its probably a trap. Ukrainians have very competent generals compared to Ruzzians
