WHAT THE ORGANIZERS HAD TO SAY
Karmel Killandi , ERR Program Manager points out:
We welcome all artists to the competition, this year’s Eesti Laul is more international than ever. I am especially happy that there are also talented young artists among the famous contestants. It is certain that the music scene of the country is richer by 175 songs and that is why we are doing this contest!
Eesti Laul producer Riin Vann notes that there has been a lot of interest in the contest both in Estonia and abroad:
This year’s Eesti Laul proves that music knows no borders and Eesti Laul is a valuable platform abroad as well. Many creative forces from abroad are participating in the competition, including creators from Norway, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Malta, Spain, Turkey, USA, Great Britain, Latvia, Austria, Denmark, Netherlands, Croatia and Lithuania. We see this as recognition and that Estonian song has its place on the international scene.
