  1. I saw a comment I guess from one reporter who works for the paper asking people not to do this because it hurts the reporters, well how else can any subscriber show they are pissed off.

  2. Like Bezos doesn’t even read the paper. Interesting thought about Amazon. Instead of buying multiple items at once. Buy one item every day. That will probably have a bigger impact than canceling Prime on Bezo’s bottom line.

  3. Look at the carbon footprint he’s making smaller. Save a tree. Quit the subscription

  4. Makes me want to subscribe because I don’t believe newspapers should endorse any candidate.

  6. I feel bad for the writers at the Post many who I enjoy reading and getting their insights. The newspaper business is a dying industry and this will just hasten the demise of the WaPo. Bezos has other toys to play with, but unfortunately his decisions will have real life consequences for regular people.

I wonder if oligarchs taste like chicken?

  7. It’s a shame because WaPo has some great journalists and they’ve done great stories on the abortion front. This won’t hurt Bezos, this hurts journalists.

  8. Cancel your prime subscription and stop buying from Amazon. The post is a small percentage of his revenue.

  9. Good! But not enough to have them change their minds…. It should reach a million before it really hurts. Doable…. So, what are we waiting for? Make it Happen! ☺️👍

  10. I did. I also cancelled my NYT subscription. The press has one job to tell it like it is. Not endorsing a candidate cause the owner doesn’t think it’s a good idea or prefers the other candidate shows that the “paper” has no autonomy to report. In the NYT case, the amount of sanewashing to normalize Trump’s speeches and quotes was just nauseating. I know ways around paywalls they got my money out of respect and now they lost that privilege.
