Japan to provide Ukraine with over $3 billion from frozen Russian assets, Japanese media report. According to 47news, Ukraine will receive $3.09 billion from Japan out of a total of $50 billion under the G7 loan program.

1. as a student of history , it is truly facinating to watch how countries that were the ‘axis of evil’ (Japan/Germany) less than 80 years ago now stand for freedom and are putting their efforts against fascism and tyranny (vs putler and his modern day axis of evil).    Close to $300 billion of ruZZian assets is being held in banks outside of ruZZia but that doesn’t even come close to compensating Ukraine for the inestimable damage in lives and property Putin’s regime has caused.

   Not a cent of the principal should be returned to ruZZia EVER but I know that Trump will immediately try to do that if he gets the chance to bring “peace in our time” to the conflict.

4. Kudos to Japan for stepping up in such an honourable way, not taking any chances on having Russian asset Trump win the election and getting this done before he could stop it. The world thanks you ❤️

   Now if all the Russian assets could be used to assist Ukraine that would be some justice for the greedy oligarchs who started this mess
