  1. Keep in mind, 30% of the total population of Sudan. The areas which contain the fighting are probably way higher.
Darfur was a hellhole for the last 20 years, I can’t imagine it now.

  2. It is quite damning how the UN still doesn’t have a peacekeeping mission to Sudan, or at least publicly calling for one.

Gross failure of leadership, and diplomacy by the Secretary General

  3. What is Twitch doing? Any live streams to benefit Sudan or just ones to benefit influencers who glaze Houthi rebels?

Earn back some good will and put attention on a worthy cause

  4. Anyone know of any orgs doing charity work there? I know some folks who might wish to donate to help support the refugees living in Sudan. I’ve heard the International Rescue Committee are a good organization, but I’m not super familiar with their work.

  5. Sometimes i wonder if Sudan and other countries in Africa and Asia are really accurately recording their population numbers. It just seems so weird that there would be 50 million people living in a country with large desert areas. Or even 100 million in Egypt. That seems unbelievable.
