In Russia’s Ulyanovsk region, a monument honoring “veterans of combat and local wars” was unveiled, showing a soldier with American weapons in NATO uniform. Amid public outrage, a local official claimed the rifles were “captured equipment” and said he had “personally chosen them for the artist.”

Someone grabbed a nice photo from the internet and transferred it to the granite.
…the West is cool, right?
More like he copied an internet pic and emailed it to the artist while then taking his 40% cut of the monument cost
They miss the point, the projectfund has gone 80% directly into the pockets of the involved parties. It was a great success.
Why the public complains about the cheap easy to use picture is unclear and not relevant.
Haha what a bunch of morons.
lol
Viva le resistance
what are those hitler youth wannabes to the left and right of it?
This says so much about the entire situation.
This is country is a joke but nobody is laughing anymore.
We need some undercover CIA here to find the exact image that’s used. Would be funny if it’s a US soldier from one of the wars in the Middle East, where Russia fought a proxy war against the USA.
These orcs just can’t get anything right 😂
Looks better than their own troops and kit
Someone ordered a monument off Temu
Deluded dudes
Fucking hysterical 🤣 someone’s catching a balcony
I guess the alternative was a Mosin Nagant from 1892
A nod to six years from now when NATO finalizes the orc collapse and are honored
Claiming it is captured American Equipment implies either they ran out of equipment, russian logistics *are* laugable after all, or that American equipment is superior, which in most cases it is. I prefer to think it’s both.
Same dude that posts all those pictures of female American pilots as Russian pilots on the Facebook spam posts
thank god they are so f-ing stupid i say
It’s like when Russian propaganda tried showing how developed and beautiful Królewiec (formerly Kaliningrad) is and in the footage showing it they’ve used an average Polish town of Elbląg…
They live in a parallel reality.
Sure he meant that, and if you pull his finger his ass plays jingle bells.
.
There was one time a county level military recruiting station in China outsourced their poster creating to a local studio and they put a US Army 173rd helicopter I section battalion soldier on it (with flag patches and M4)
