  1. Her boyfriends love her accent!

Plus, accent sounds appropriate for talking of plans for Moose and Squirrel.

  2. I don’t and all you rumor mongers should be ashamed when there is actually important stuff going on.

How about the white first advisor, Miller, screeching “America is for Americans ONLY”

  3. I love how they say she’s this amazing genius who speaks five languages. She barely speaks English, appears to know about five words in French and those are “Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir?” comes in handy for a hooker.

  4. If you were married to trump, you would want to keep your curses in another language secret too.

  5. This is why it’s obvious she doesn’t speak french or italian, and never has. If she’s lived here in the US for 25 years+ and her English is still this remarkably shitty, she’s not a cunning linguist.

The whole “five languages fluently” thing was a joke, still is.

  6. It’s been reported that she and Baron speak Slovenian in the household to keep trump and others from understanding them. I’m sure that added to their weirdness.

  7. He forgot to put in the mail order bride form , must speak good English ! An easy mistake to make !

  8. Does she actually have any friends? Maybe she doesn’t speak to anyone but her kid and she speaks to him in her language.

  9. Every time I hear her, I think it’s Natasha from Rocky and Bullwinkle. “You are so bad, you’re good!” I wonder if Melania ever said this to the orange man.

  10. Some people just seem to have better ears than others. Some people will have little accent after several years, while others never lose theirs. Look at Henry Kissinger. He lived in this country for many decades and never lost his thick accent.

  11. Accents are funny things, if you move to a new country past the age of early teens, that’s pretty much it for most people, with a few exceptions. But her accent HAS changed. We Americans probably don’t hear it. If she goes back to where she came from and speaks to them, they will think she sounds too American.

  12. My father has lived in the US since the early 1960s. He still has a thick enough accent to trip people up.

  13. To be fair, we have a ton of Eastern Europeans at my church and their accents are still very heavy despite being here for years. I think it really depends on their job. One Russian woman is an interpreter for court, but her husband is American and a Romanian guy is in IT. His wife’s accent is still super thick and I have a hard time understanding every word.

  14. Are you implying that Donald Trump is not a good conversationalist that likes to actively listen to his female friends and partners, hearing out their opinions and statements fully and taking them on before responding in turn? lol

  15. She was brought to America to hook up with rich dudes at the Kit Cat Club. Dump has had connections through his racist daddy, and that’s where the Einstein visa came from! Glorified pin up girl.

  16. Melania has always spoken Slovenian with her family, including Barron, says biographer Mary Jordan. No wonder 🎃is always crying for interpreters for languages “nobody speaks“! She maintains an impenetrable bubble of Slovenian within whatever space she does share with him.

I Sometimes a retained accent is voluntary. Henry Kissinger and his brother emigrated from Germany together as teenagers, yet Henry continued with his dense accent, while his brother soon spoke “normal” American English.

  17. “But some people never lose their accents despite living in America because the majority of people that they speak to only speak their native language, or have the accent at least.”

Fuck Melania, but fuck this author too. Some people who immigrate to the USA as adults never lose their accent, even if they’re are totally immersed in American culture and speak nothing but English with native speakers all day long. Source: I’m describing myself. Research supports that phenomena; for many people accent is baked in by adulthood.
