  1. I’ve started seeing so many. they dont even put any effort in them honestly, its just weird

  2. Like much of what these shops sell is cringe. But it seems there’s a market for it.

  3. I would put money on the people who buy them having a “live, laugh, love” bollocks sign in their house as well.

  4. URG I keep seeing these around, they’re so annoying. Theres absolutely people out there who will fall for it too.

  5. These are all over the place. Not a fan at all.

  6. It’s the new wave of tourist tat, and tourists will lap it up

  7. They’re appearing everywhere, even in proper wee gallery/art shops as well. I go to a farmers market every few months and the art/craft stalls are filled with this crap.

  8. So we’re wantin’ tacky tat police now?

    Git tae fuck.

Mibbe get some intelligence yersel’ instead of wanting stop idiots being payed far their money,ya grump.

  9. I saw a few kids get excited about them today so I reckon that’s the audience

  10. They always have those dining chairs that are a grey velvet with lion almost door knockers on the back …

Ken what a mean pal , dead classy an that

  11. It’s causing a lot of concern to the Highland Coos who used to make a living out of postcards, they can’t compete with this.

  12. Take this down. The picture on the right is of my Uncle Tim from Toryglen

  13. I saw this shite for sale in Elgin just the other week. No idea who the fuck is buying. Maybe a completely oblivious tourist who likes ugly shite

  14. If people want to buy them fine.

We here can all tell it’s AI and the people buying can’t. My worry for them is that the penny will drop and they’ll hate the shite they’ve bought which is a shame.

Then again people have always bought tat.

  15. Take the tourist cash. Just don’t make me look at the toot.

  16. You know boomers aren’t going to know or realise and buy it regardless

  17. I don’t know, seeing the Celtic supporter as a cow made me giggle.

  18. So is using ‘cringe’ as an adjective like you’re some Californian valley girl.

  19. I saw so many of these on my Scotland trip a few months ago and it made me so mad! You can’t photoshop that or at least pay someone to make it? Or just sell a simple photograph of a REAL animal? Even if I didn’t care about AI it looks ugly and soulless, I don’t know how people can even sell those.

  20. Cringe is forgivable, it’s everything else about generative AI “art” that’s a bigger problem.

  21. If people want to go ahead and print these and frame them, and someone wants to buy them, who cares? If there’s no demand then the seller has wasted their “efforts”.

Why anyone would even get annoyed at these is beyond me.

  22. Supply and demand I suppose.

If there is a supply there it clearly a demand of sorts

  23. I mean, if it wasn’t AI cows it would be some unlicensed photo. I also generally don’t judge a frame by the generic paper printed picture they sell it to me with.

  24. I saw stuff like that in a shop when i was in stirling, absolutely bonkers
