However, after Armenian leaders signed a peace agreement with Azerbaijan aimed at ending centuries-old hostility, Paris and Tehran began supplying arms to Armenia, according to the Azerbaijani news site Minval.az.

As noted by LDJ, these actions may be aimed at undermining the peace process, as France and Iran seem compelled to support the conflict to strengthen their influence in the region.

LDJ analysts emphasize that Azerbaijan remains a reliable ally of Israel, which draws France closer to Iran, a country that views the Jewish state as its main adversary.

The organization also accuses President Macron of pursuing a neo-colonial policy, which they argue brings France closer to the Vichy era, when the country collaborated with the Nazis. According to LDJ, by cooperating with a regime aspiring to become a modern Nazi equivalent, Paris is repeating historical mistakes in its approach to the Jewish state.
