  1. The West and SK are so afraid of escalation that they will let Putin do whatever he wants outside of nuclear threats. And by the way, his subordinates routinely threaten nuclear consequences.

  2. Well, yes. Putin’s greatest advantage in this war is that the western leaders are afraid of him.

  3. I agree that the West should be more forceful. But for Russia, it looks VERY weak to have to bring in North Koreans to try to take back Russia’s own European territory from the much smaller power that took it from Russia.

  4. Not really. I see it as a weakness on the Russian side. Why can’t they use their own population for invading another country? Because they are weak. They are fucking around and finding out.

  5. What we see here is the geopolitical version of a fold.

Putin always gambled on it, we raised the stakes with him but he always gambled on the west folding.

And we’re giving him the win. We came blame anyone other then ourselves for abandoning Ukraine.

This will be remembered as a moment of great western weakness.

Let’s hope Ukraine can turn the tide itself with our meagre rations we still send its way

  6. Uh huh. Ukraine’s allies are so weak. That is why Russia is crying for reinforcements from Kim Il Jung.

Because someone else is weak. Not them though.

    Sure.

    Fuck right off.

  7. Yep. The western response to this has been pathetic. A few slightly angry words, and South Korea is going to send a couple of “observers”, and a translater or two. Seriously, what the…????
