10. While it looks like a genuine mistake on the police part, she should definitely be compensated and the police officers should be punished.

    Confirming an identity of the target should be on top of things to do as a police officer, especially while conducting a raid.

16. Special police force chases drugs, acts like total cowboys, illegally breaches wrong door, doesn’t bother to check whom they arrested, doesn’t follow the process for arrest, leaves arrested person half-naked and then just leaves with “we did nothing wrong”.

    Sounds to me as if there’s no rule of law in Malta. Just rule of cowboys.

    If there were rule of law, police should pay for the damages they caused and officers that caused them, as well as the ones that “found nothing wrong” should be punished.

    Mental note to self: never go to Malta, it sucks.
