1. Gambling. Chump could not even succeed with a casino where the house always wins under anyone else’s ownership.

   If you are legit at the bottom in society, you have nowhere to go but up. Chaos can only benefit you. It is not a gamble, then, it’s all upside.

   But if you are some asshole in a tie at a think tank, then you have a lot riding on avoiding chaos – your class position, your mortgage, your 401k, all at risk.
