  1. “The actor famous for his roles in Beetlejuice and Batman made it very clear who he doesn’t think Americans should be supporting when they go to the polls on Tuesday in an Instagram clip he posted this week.

“The Republican candidate for the presidency is someone who lies and cheats, treats women horribly, mocks handicapped people calls war veterans who gave their lives ‘suckers and losers,’” Keaton says, adding he was raised by “two really great parents” in Western Pennsylvania.

His mother suffered a stroke that left her disabled when he was 18.

He continued: “When you go into that booth, before you check that box or punch that ballot, I want you to ask yourselves, is that how I would want my son or daughter to live?”

“Is that how your mother and father raised you? I don’t think so. He’s not one of you, and I don’t think you’re like him.””

  2. Taylor, the Boss, Queen Bey and now even Batman are telling us to put Trump in our rear view. Please, my fellow Americans, I beg you to listen to them. Trump is a cancer. It’s time to cut him out.

  3. Yay another Hollywood elitist telling me how to think. He probably went to a freak off and has no choice but to endorse. Same with all of Hollywood. They all have freak off tapes to worry about.

  4. Buried?! I’ve been a copy editor, I know it can get boring and repetitive, but these forays into thesauri needs to stop.

  5. The amount of people accusing Michael of “spreading misinformation” makes my brain want to explode. What reality are people living in?!?!

  6. Tbh, none of these politicians are “one of us”. They all have dinners and meetings with people we wouldn’t have enough money to breathe the same oxygen space as they do.

  7. I’ve always felt that Michael Keaton’s breakout character in Ron Howard’s movie “Night Shift” was too good to be played from just acting. The character really was running from something or running to something, particularly in the Christmas tree scene where he records a memo to his mom.
I didn’t realize that his mom had a stroke when he was 18…that informs a lot of the emotion in this scene:

Scene starts at 1:05:00 and lasts about 60 seconds

  8. Harrison Ford just did the same.

Vote like your life depends on it, people. Because it truly does.

  9. This guy is less “one of us” than Trump….this is an embarrassing self own.

  10. I would also add to people with daughters: Do you want your daughters to look up to Melania or Ivanka?

  11. Keaton’s first job was working on Mister Roger’s Neighborhood. No doubt he has thought, what would Fred have thought of the world today. What would he have thought of Trump.

  12. I never take advice from anyone who’s trade it is to read scripts. I don’t care who they support. I only mildly care about the movies they star in. The rest is obsolete
