  7. The parents should be charged with manslaughter. They bought the dog, they were in charge of making sure it was under control. They were also in charge of their child and responsible for the child’s safety as legal guardians. It is entirely their fault that the child is dead, and they should pay a very heavy price for that.

    “Losing their child is enough” I’m sure some might say. No it isn’t. People need to learn that they will be held accountable for their actions or there’s nothing to stop the same thing happening again… And again, and again.

  8. RIP to the poor girl. This is exactly why they are a dangerous breed. Why would you have one of these animals in such a small space with young children around? These will keep happening whilst idiots keep claiming “they wouldn’t hurt a fly” and it’s a lack of understanding. I’ve had big dogs most of my life but would never consider one of these animals suitable for being around humans

    this little kid being mauled by yet again another XL.

    I couldn’t even imagine how traumatic it is witnessing such a horrific incident or responding to the scene

  24. Was walking my twelve year old terrier a few days ago and a xl bully got out of someone’s garden and went for my dog. I held my dog up in the air while the bully kept jumping straight up and snapping at it, luckily it had no interest in me. Even give it a right hook on one jump and it didn’t even notice it happened. Luckily the owner came running. No cars stopped and no one helped despite there being a few people around and a few cars went passed.

  25. I understand the argument it’s only a small minority of XL bullies who kill, but why run that risk? I’ve never heard of a Labrador ripping some poor kids face off so it’s still a breed issue and not just bad owners.
