My mother-in-law recently visited Scotland and really enjoyed this song. I’d like to incorporate this song into a photo album at Christmas. Can anyone help me identify the artist/song title for this song? The clearest bits of the lyrics I can make out are “by the labor of the land” and “we stand taller every day”. Google search hasn’t produced any luck. Thanks in advance!

Sounds like some stupid American shite.
It’s not a Scottish song.
Not a Scottish song.
Definitely not Scottish… the accent is American 🇺🇸
Quick search on Shazam: Burifa Hill (Dunnet Head) by Gordon Gunn & Friends
It’s Burifa Hill (Dunnet Head) by Gordon Gunn & Friends. It’s on his album, The Musical Map of Caithness. Oh, and he was born and raised in Wick, which makes him very much Scottish. http://www.gordongunn.co.uk/About_.asp
Burifa Hill (Dunnet Head) by Gordon Gunn & Friends, Shazam did the work
As scottish as mel Gibson 😆😆
Damn, Scotland is beautiful
I love how the song is about Dunnet Head and they’re driving towards that place.. Maybe a guided tour with relevant music?. I went a wee road trip up there a couple of months back and knew it was that scenery in the vid (the signpost for Latheron confirmed it).
🏴 ..and there was me thinking it was the Bay City Rollers .
‘Some old teuchtery nonsense’ by Jimmy Big Baws
