  1. It says he burnt an effigy that looked a bit like Trump for bonfire night. It’s hardly news let alone something anyone will be outraged by. I doubt Clarkson would care if it had caused outrage.

  2. I thought he would be into trump.. Supports Farage and Johnson…man’s a donkey.

  3. > Jeremy Clarkson sparked controversy after burning an effigy resembling Donald Trump at his pub in Oxfordshire just before the U.S. presidential election results. Clarkson shared the image on social media, prompting backlash from fans and criticism on various platforms. Many expressed disappointment, with some accusing Clarkson of losing touch and others highlighting Trump’s support for farmers as contradictory to Clarkson’s act. Clarkson’s post came amid heightened election tensions, as Trump was declared the 47th U.S. president after defeating Kamala Harris.

  4. Reads more like clarkson drumming up interest for his pub than an actual news report.

  5. Looks like we all need to love Trump now then.

Whatever happened to “freedom of speech”. Suddenly Trump wins and we’ve got to watch what we say or do incase it offends him.

It is however ok for him to say or do whatever he wants. Including lies about specific people and threats towards their lives.

Some free country. Sounds more like Putin’s Russia

  6. Outrage, yes…that he he used an “effigy”, not the real deal.

  7. Shit, the Americans are going to dump our tea in the ocean again

  8. An actual nationalist who claims to be a nationalist? I didn’t think any existed. Most are actually just ‘western’ culture war Guru’s who are probably celebrating Trump’s victory as if it’s their own…

  9. So people only like his “outrageous” behaviour when it’s the casual racism they agree with, but not when it’s something they disagree with. The free speech absolutists are at it again!

Think he’s a twat, but now I think he’s a twat who did something funny once. Fair play to him for not pandering to his fanbase and burning a Kier Starmer effigy or something.

  10. I dislike Clarkson but this is something I can stand behind

  11. He doesn’t care . He hates Trump and Starmer equally. We need more of this in politics. Left or right 95% are twats .

  12. This might be the first redeeming feature regarding Clarkson.

  13. Why outrage? It will most likely give him some nice words from people

I thought Clarkson liked Trump? Same style

  14. Outrage? From who? Let them cry.

People love freedom of speech and freedom of expression until it comes knocking on their door.

  15. To be fair, Jeremy Clarkson is well known for caring about what people think of him.

  16. And he did it around “Guy Falkes” day….really…yawn …been doing it since Victorian era

  17. Aren’t they related, they speak very much alike. Over the top and rude. Self opinionated and full of themselves

  18. Who’s outraged? Makes a change from being ring Catholic effigies 🤷
